Every single person is the hero of their own story.
The key to winning over your customers is to help them be the hero they want to be– the best writer or the supportive partner, or the most stylish druid at the D&D game.
Your product or service enables these heroes to take on a challenge, whether that be saving the galaxy, being more productive or shaving. Hey, not all quests are life or death.
So, what does this have to do with the Millennium Falcon?
Han Solo wouldn’t be much of a hero if he was hitching rides through space on random freighters. The thing that enables him to be Han Solo is his ship, the Millennium Falcon. Without it, he’s just some guy with a cocky attitude walking around Corellia.
You want to be your customers’ Millennium Falcon.
The way to do that is to make a kick-ass product or service (which you already have!) and to show people how you make them the everyday hero they want to be (or the galaxy-saving one. If you’re building hyperdrives, please, please reach out).
That’s where I come in.
I write copy that puts your customers at the centre and shows them exactly how you make their lives better or more fun or more exciting.
